BAND BIO: Mo’ Mojo is a hard driving, high energy, Zydeco-based “Party-Gras” Band from Akron Ohio. The female fronted group features three-part harmonies and traditional creole Zydeco instrumentation of accordion, fiddle, guitar, rubboard, bass, and drums, and they build out their own sound with a tasty presence of sax, trumpet, and blues harp. Mo’ Mojo has a growing national following, already capturing the hearts and ears of folks in their land of inspiration, Louisiana. In addition to powerful danceable renditions of Zydeco classics which is sure to satisfy the cravings of hardcore Zydeco Dancers, Mo’ Mojo delivers many enticing originals with lyrics that encourage the imagination and grooves that inspire.
